Entry To the Facility:
All entry in to Circuit of the Americas must be through the main gate area located on FM-812.
In order to pass the security checkpoint you will need to have signed a BMW CCA waiver and obtain a black wristband. You may also be required to sign a waiver for COTA as well. Absolutely no one will be permitted on the premises without having signed a waiver. There is a special MINOR WAIVER for children under 18 years old which MUST BE SIGNED BY BOTH PARENTS. If you print this out at home and fill it out ahead of time you MUST print it in COLOR. Black & white copies will not be accepted.
Racers or DE participants with trailers should proceed straight past the security checkpoint down COTA Boulevard and turn right into Tunnel 2 and proceed to the paddock area. All other participants arriving in cars should turn right and proceed down the main parking lot to Tunnel 1 towards the paddock. Here are the entry directions (download)
Gates will open to our participants at 6:00 pm on Thursday and will be open until 10:00 pm. However, you must have signed the BMW CCA waiver to get in and the waiver will not be available at all times. You must be out be 10pm on Sunday. Please read the entry procedures document for more info. Anticipate the BMW waiver to be available 6-9pm Thursday, 6:30-10am and 6-9 pm Friday, 6:30-10 am Saturday, 6:30-10am Sunday. Gates should be open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Please plan accordingly. If you are arriving after 9:00 pm or in the middle of the night, expect to have to wait til 6:00 am to get in.
Enter the paddock for participants (on track and autox):
Turn onto Circuit of the Americas Blvd from 812. Proceed down COTA Blvd to the guard shack on the right after the underpass. SIGN WAIVERS- track and BMW. Get wristband indicating you have signed the waiver. WEAR IT. There will be people checking in the paddock and everybody must have a wristband indicating they have signed the waiver. If you don’t have it, you will be sent back to the guard shack to sign the waiver and get a wrist band. Enter paddock area via tunnel 2. See paddock map on news page of www.texastrifecta.com. Do not park in garage trailer parking area unless you are in a garage. If you are unsure where to park, ASK!
All paid participants may park in the paddock area. Space is limited, but there should be enough for everyone. If you have a trailer, please park in an orderly and compact fashion. Please place a board/jack pad under any trailer or motorhome jacks to prevent damage to the asphalt parking lot surfaces. You may not be able to park your trailers behind your garage depending on how we grid up this year, and if COTA is staging for anther event.
There are many traffic lanes in the paddock area, please pay attention and don’t park in such a way that you will impede the flow of cars during the weekend.
There is no parking in the infield or the paddock area behind the garages for guests or visitors.
Enter the paddock for non-participants (unless otherwise instructed by COTA employees or Texas Trifecta staff members):
After turning onto COTA Blvd from 812, make a right into the main grandstand parking area. Park towards tunnel 1. You must walk via tunnel 1 to enter the paddock. There will be COTA employees requiring you to sign the track and BMW waivers. GET WRISTBAND and WEAR IT. There will be people checking in the paddock and everybody must have a wristband indicating they have signed the waiver. If you don’t have it, you will be sent back to the guard shack to sign the waiver and get a wrist band.
