READ THIS, KNOW THIS

  • Here is a map of the garage area, event center and grid showing the flow of traffic.
  • Paddock speed limit is 15 mph. Speeding around the paddock will be grounds for you to be removed from the event. Excessive speed may cause you to not get a warning.
  • Please keep an eye on the schedule to know when you are on track. Once the previous group clears grid, grid will be open for the next group. It is imperative that we grid on time. If you are late to grid, you will be directed down the road by the garages to enter the track between the garages and the medical building. If you are directed this way, wait for direction from staff as to when to enter track.
  • Paddock speed limit applies to cold pits. Remember there will be a lot of foot traffic getting to grid. Hitting stuff on track is bad, hitting people is worse.
  • If you are gridding immediately after a race session, be prepared to stop between the control tower and the event center before you turn left to the grid. This is for race procedures. Follow staff directions.
  • If you have a garage you may enter the grid from your garage (unless we announce otherwise at the event). If the grid is already past your garage then you must go around and enter the back. BACKING UP IS NOT PERMITTED unless directed by grid staff.
  • If you choose to enter grid via your garage, please do so at 5 mph  as there will be a lot of foot traffic.
  • Park your car where directed by the grid staff.
  • Space will be limited. Cars will be parked nose to tail. Therefore, be ready to go on track when the first car is released. Do not leave you car unattended on grid.
  • Pay attention to the pit out lights under the start flag stand. We will make every effort to ensure these are correct, but they are new to us as well.
  • Always observe the blend line coming out of pit into turn 1.
  • Track will be double yellow for the first lap every session until we notify you otherwise.
  • The corner worker stations can be hard to see. YOU WILL NEED TO ACTIVELY LOOK FOR CORNER WORKERS AND FLAGS. Continued missing flags will be grounds for expulsion from the event. Some stations are harder to see than others.
    • Black flag station will be at station at turn 11 Beta (which is after turn 11 on the back straight on the left before the first hill). Back up black flag will be at start/finish. If you see black flag for the first time at start/finish, you missed it at 11 Beta.
    • You will see the checkered flag at start/finish first. You will see it at every up to turn 11. After turn 11 you will see STANDING BLACK at all stations. Pit entry is DRIVER’S LEFT after turn 19. BLOWING THE CHECKERED FLAG WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.  If you take a 2nd checkered lap YOU WILL NOT GO OUT YOUR NEXT SESSION. If you do it again, you will go home. NO EXCEPTIONS. We have to do this to ensure we can maintain the schedule. After the checkered flag, Please continue at speed til you get on the back straight. Once on the back straight, you can slow down slightly, but maintain a good pace to get off track in a timely manner.
    • If you need more of a cool down, drive around the paddock or out to the main road.
  • When you pit in and make the left turn to go parallel with the front straight, SLOW DOWN, the turn into the paddock is very close. Watch out that the cars ahead of you haven’t come to complete stop. Be prepared to stop on the lane between 19 and 20.
  • Once you enter the paddock, if you have a garage, do not make the immediate right to the garages. To get to the garages go to the far end of the paddock and enter the driveway by turn 1.
  • Remember paddock speed limit of 15 mph
  • If, for some reason you are on the hot pit lane after the entry to the paddock and the end of hot pits, follow the directions of staff to safely exit the hot pits. If you are reentering your session, don’t speed down pit lane (speed limit 35) and watch the start station as to when to reenter the track. BE VERY CAREFUL ENTERING THE TRACK in middle of the session. The front straight speed is very high.

Corner worker stations we plan on manning (Watch a video of a lap and look for these stations):
Please see THIS MAP. The corner stations were are planning on manning that are listed below have 2 red circles around them on this map.
